Do you have a list of the weekly activities?
There are various activities throughout the year, with Sunday Group Runs starting in the fall, swims at Walden Pond and Mystic Lake, group bike rides throughout the spring, summer, and fall, our annual indoor time trial, socials, and many other activities. Best place to check out what’s going on with BTT is to go to our website: bostontriteam.com. Click on events and you can see a calendar of upcoming activities. All events on the calendar are open to the public and it’s a great idea to add yourself to our email list to get the latest updates (you add yourself to the email list on the website as well).
What’s happening in my neighborhood or near me?
Depending on where you live, most activities are in the Boston area or surrounding towns.
It’s always more fun racing with friends and teammates, and there are certain races we do target for a larger BTT presence. The following races have historically had a lot of BTT racers: Patriot Half, Cranberry Trifest, Mass State Olympic, Whaling City, IMMT 70.3, IMLP, IMMT, and IMLP70.3.
We have an application period in the fall for people to join the team for the following season. You can submit an application, which is reviewed, and selection is based on a variety of factors. We encourage coming to any of our events/activities throughout the year, as it’s a good way to get to know our members, and for us to get to know you. It also allows you to decide if BTT is the right fit for you.
Do I have to be fast to get on to BTT?
No, we have a wide variety of triathletes on the team and encourage everyone to join us.
